 The Estate properties take a considerable amount of looking after. The Clerk of Works runs a team of joiners and maintenance staff who organise and carry out everything from minor repairs to substantial refurbishments and developments.
Cranborne Joinery offers a full range of joinery and carpentry work to the general public. We specialise in the repair and maintenance of properties. We manufacture all our own woodwork in our own Estate workshops. Personal attention is provided at all times. A full fitting service is provided and we welcome visits from customers, by appointment, at our workshops. Our on-going work at this time includes the repair and maintenance of cottages and houses on a neighbouring private estate. This includes new external doors and frames; new window frames; repairs to conservatories and garages, etc. This is all bespoke joinery made in our own workshops and fitted by our own staff. We are due to make and fit new hardwood window frames in a barn for one of our neighbouring farmers. Closer to home we are designing and making some oak church notice boards. Recently we have converted one of our farm buildings into a new modern workshop. This will give us an opportunity to bring in new machinery and a better working environment.
