Residential LettingsWhen residential properties on the Estate become available, usually after they have been occupied by the same tenants for a number of years, they tend to be completely refurbished by the Estate to a high specification to bring them up to date and make them suitable for modern living.  They are usually let to interested tenants for a one year term. This is often renewed for a three year term. Tenants may stay for a number of decades, renewing their tenancies every three years.

The Estate has built a small number of new homes and has plans to build more in the future.   These are completed to the highest modern standards and also fit in well with the existing architecture. They are all built to be rented to suitable tenants who wish to live and work locally.

The main reasons why tenants chose to rent from the Cranborne Estate are:
