We picked the wettest morning of the week to do ou

We picked the wettest morning of the week to do our already delayed community litter pick today. Here’s some of the team, before being despatched along the lanes in and approaching Cranborne. We managed to fill over twenty bags of rubbish; plus collected tyres, hub-caps and road cones. We are all agreed that the drinkers of cider, @fostersuk and @monsterenergy are happy to toss their cans out of their cars. Thank you to @dorsetcounciluk waste for supplying the bags and collecting the rubbish (next week) and to Cranborne Stores for the very welcome bacon rolls afterwards.

The harvest included varieties such as Crown Prince (blue), Uchiki Kuri (red), Marina di Chioggia (bumpy green), Butternut squash and Little Gem (mini green ones).

Just in time for squash season 🎃
