Orchard Bay Bakery: Chris Wakely set up as a small independent baker in 2015. When he had outgrown his home kitchen, we were able to give him space in Cranborne Stores for a small bakery. Orchard Bay at Cranborne Stores quickly grew and soon Chris was looking for bigger production premises. The Holwell development for Sixpenny Brewery was underway and this pair of former farm garage/workshops was available for renovation.
We worked with Chris to make sure the building was food-safe and during the works, extended into a vacant unit next door to allow for expansion into a retail shop and pizzeria.
